Frequently Asked Questions
Do I pay for the ArtCraft apps?
No — the apps are free open source. This site charges only for its own tutorials and preset packs. Credits are one-time; there is no subscription and nothing renews.
What is a credit?
1 credit = 1 unlock: one paid tutorial or one preset pack. The $9 starter pack gives 3 credits; the $19 pro pack gives 9 — enough for the full v1 paid catalog.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits are held against an anonymous browser token for one year and do not renew or expire during that window. Note your token shown at checkout — it is the only way to recover credits if you clear browser storage.
How is payment delivered?
PayPal, instant payment notification, auto-delivered: within seconds of payment your credits appear when you return to the site. No account, no card on file.
Why charge anything if the tools are free?
Tutorial writing and hand-built template files take real work; charging for them keeps this site sustainable while the tools remain free forever. One free tutorial (PhotoCraft install) is always free.
